NZBN-anchored (ABN for Australian orgs). Country sets your property identifiers — NAIT (NZ) or PIC (AU).

Admins can invite, change role, and revoke. Property Managers see only their assigned Properties.

NAIT-registered farms/blocks. Removing a Property writes a custody-event placeholder for animals on it.

Processors you’ve allowed to see your enrolled mobs’ verification standing and weight trajectory. Visibility only — never your commercial terms, individual animals, or other processors. Revoke any time.

Genetics providers you’ve allowed to see the sire records for your animals. Revoke any time — it takes effect immediately.

What they see, per animal: sire ID (type, value, provider and name), how the sire was recorded, sire breed, dam breed, date of birth, and the animal’s breed — plus your own average daily gain figures grouped by sire, with a low-confidence marker on any sire with few progeny.

They only see their own sires. A provider sees the animals sired by bulls from namespaces they’ve registered with us and we’ve approved — not animals you bred with anyone else. Two providers you’ve granted access to see different, non-overlapping sets of your animals, and neither can work out your split across the other.

Sires we can’t match are shown to nobody. If a sire code doesn’t match any registered provider — usually a typo, an on-farm bull, or a stud without a central registry — that animal goes to no provider at all. We show you a count of those so you can fix the entry if you want to; the count is never shown to a provider.

What they never see: your name or your Org’s name, your Property, your NAIT number, your contact details, who did your weighing, anything about price or settlement, and your verification standing or claim class. They are also never told which other genetics providers or processors you have granted access to.

Your tag numbers stay yours. Each animal reaches the provider as a code that works only for them — not your NAIT tag number, and the code can’t be turned back into one. Be aware, though, that this doesn’t make you anonymous: if you grant two providers access, the sire figures they each receive are the same figures, so they could work out they’re both looking at the same farm if they compared notes.

Two smaller things worth knowing. Where a sire has only one or two calves, the growth figure for that sire is effectively that individual animal’s figure. And free-text fields you typed yourself — sire name, sire ID, “other breed” — are passed on as you wrote them, so avoid putting your property or farm name in them.

Programmes and research bodies you’ve allowed to include your animals in a cohort. Leave any time — it takes effect immediately.

Signing up to a programme doesn’t do this. Joining a programme in the real world and letting it see your figures here are two separate things. Nothing is shared until you allow it on this screen, and not allowing it is a perfectly normal state to be in.

They see the cohort, never your farm. A programme receives figures worked out across every farm in the cohort together — counts, averages, medians, spread. It does not receive your animals, your mobs, your properties, or any figure that could be traced to your farm on its own. There is no screen or export anywhere that would give it one.

Small groups show nothing. No figure appears unless at least five separate farms sit behind it — five farms, not five animals, so one large farm can’t make up the number on its own. Anything below that is withheld rather than rounded off.

What you get back. The same cohort figures the programme sees, on this screen, for as long as you’re in it. That’s the point of the arrangement rather than a thank-you: a chain where the data only travels one way isn’t a value chain. Your own view holds to a slightly higher bar — because you know your own numbers, a figure only appears to you once five other farms are behind it.

These are figures, not claims. Cohort numbers are a record of what happened, not a verified claim about it, and they’re not a benchmark. We don’t compare your cohort to another one, to a national figure, or to last season, and neither party is authorised to publish it as one.

Leaving stops it at once, but doesn’t unpublish. Revoking stops any further figures immediately — yours to them, and theirs back to you. It can’t withdraw a figure a programme has already published, which is part of why the five-farm floor is set where it is.

When you list, verified processors can see an anonymous summary of your enrolled mobs — region, stock class, an approximate head-count band, weight trajectory, and (for claim-tier mobs) a coarse verification standing. They cannot see your name, your Property, exact numbers, your other processors, or your contact details — not unless you accept an expression of interest, which simply creates a normal processor link. Listing is not an offer or a commitment to sell. You can stop listing at any time.

Processors who’ve expressed interest in a listed mob. Accepting shares your enrolled mobs with that processor (a normal processor link) and reveals your identity to them only. Declining reveals nothing.
