When it closes, the animals stay measured but the history stops travelling — and the next programme starts again from nothing.

We carry, we don’t re-score

Where a recognised authority already publishes genetic information, we carry what it says with the issuer and version attached. We don’t re-score it and we don’t publish a rating of our own.

What does it cost?

Nothing to your programme. KaiProva is funded further down the chain, by the businesses that get commercial value from the verified record. We’ll always be straight with you about that.

Who owns the data?

The farmer does. A programme sees what its participating farmers have agreed to share, for a stated purpose, and they can withdraw.

Do you certify our programme?

No. KaiProva verifies that individual animal records conform to its protocol. Your programme’s findings are yours.

Can we use this outside New Zealand and Australia?

The record travels — it’s built on official animal identity, which exists in every market. Carbon results don’t travel: those need local science for each production system. We’d rather be clear about that up front.
